A Hen Party on Dubai's Pink Yacht: The Planning Guide

Most hen parties in Dubai end up on a yacht at some point — the city is built around the water. What changes the day is the boat. The Pink Yacht is Dubai's first fully pink charter yacht: pink hull, pink flybridge, pink salon, pink cabins. For a bride-to-be and her group, it is the backdrop and the venue in one.
How many people can come
The yacht is 64 ft and takes up to 20 guests, which covers most hen groups comfortably. Below about twelve people the decks feel spacious; closer to twenty it feels like a party. It is a private charter — your group only, with captain and crew — so you never share the boat with strangers.

Where everyone ends up
- The flybridge — shaded seating under a pink bimini with a table and an open view over Dubai Marina. This is where the group tends to settle.
- The foredeck — a wide pink sun area at the bow, and the favourite spot for group photos.
- The aft deck — shaded seating and a dining table next to the swim platform, ideal for the cake moment.
- The salon — a wraparound pink sofa with cushions and a dining corner with bar stools, for when you want air-conditioning and music.
How long to book
The minimum is two hours, and for most hen parties two to three hours is the sweet spot: long enough to settle in, celebrate and take photos, short enough that the energy stays high. Late afternoon into sunset gives the softest light on all that pink.
Decoration, cake and extras
The boat is already the theme, so decoration can be light — a few balloons and a sash go a long way. Decoration and balloons, custom cakes, a photographer and flower bouquets can be added when you book; see our custom cake designs. Drinks on board are water, juices and soft drinks.

A sample two-hour hen party
- Boarding (first 15 minutes) — welcome photos on the stern and swim platform.
- Cruise and settle in — the group moves up to the flybridge while the boat leaves the Marina.
- Games and toasts — the salon or the aft deck, with music.
- The cake — at the aft deck table.
- Group photos — on the foredeck in the last of the light.
Best season and timing in Dubai
October to April is the most comfortable season on the water, with warm days and mild evenings — and the busiest, so weekend dates go first. From May to September it is hot; choose late afternoon or evening and use the shaded flybridge, aft deck and air-conditioned salon. Sunset in Dubai falls at roughly 5:30–6:00 pm in winter and around 7:00 pm in midsummer, so time your booking to catch the last hour of daylight.
