Early Morning Fishing in Dubai: Why Many Trips Start at Sunrise
Ask anglers in Dubai when to go and many will say: early. The air is cooler, the water is often calmer in the morning, and you are back with the afternoon still free. Here is how to plan a morning trip on the Sea Hunter 34ft.
Why the morning
- Heat — for most of the year the first hours after sunrise are the most comfortable on an open deck. In summer it is the only comfortable time.
- Calmer water — the sea is often flatter early, before the afternoon breeze.
- Light — sunrise over the Dubai skyline from the water is worth the alarm.
A six-hour morning
Board at Dubai Harbour at first light, run out on the triple outboards, fish through the morning with a break in the shade under the T-top or in the cabin, and be back around midday. Water and soft drinks are on board; bring breakfast or add food when you book.
What to bring

Is the price per person?
No — AED 650 per hour is for the whole boat and your private group of up to 12.
What is the shortest trip?
Six hours. Shorter trips spend most of their time travelling, not fishing.
Do we bring rods or bait?
No. Fishing equipment and bait are included, along with captain, crew, water and soft drinks.
Is there a toilet on board?
Yes — a toilet and shower below deck, next to a cabin with a double bed.
Can we pay in instalments?
