Choosing the moment
Sunset is the classic for a reason: the light is soft, the Marina towers glow, and the pink of the boat turns warm. Plan to be on deck in the last half hour of daylight.
Choosing the spot on board
- The foredeck — the most private spot, at the bow with open water ahead.
- The flybridge — the best view of the skyline, under the pink bimini.
- The aft deck — easiest for a photographer to frame, and where friends can wait inside the salon before the surprise.
Flowers, cake and photos

Book under your own name and tell your partner it is a sunset cruise. If friends or family are joining for the celebration afterwards, they can board first and wait in the air-conditioned salon until the moment has happened. Best season and timing in Dubai
October to April is the most comfortable season on the water, with warm days and mild evenings — and the busiest, so weekend dates go first. From May to September it is hot; choose late afternoon or evening and use the shaded flybridge, aft deck and air-conditioned salon. Sunset in Dubai falls at roughly 5:30–6:00 pm in winter and around 7:00 pm in midsummer, so time your booking to catch the last hour of daylight.
