A Family Fishing Trip in Dubai: Kids, Comfort and the Cabin

Most fishing boats are built for anglers, not families: open decks, no shade, and no toilet. That is fine for a group of friends, and a problem with children, grandparents or anyone who wants a break. The Sea Hunter 34ft is one of the few fishing boats in Dubai that solves it.
The three things a family trip needs
- Shade — the T-top covers the helm and the middle of the deck.
- A toilet — below deck there is a toilet and a shower.
- Somewhere to rest — a cabin with a double bed for a nap or a quiet half hour out of the sun.

Children and fishing
The crew sets up the rods and bait and shows first-timers what to do, so children can fish with an adult beside them. Pack hats, sunscreen and something warm for the ride back in the cooler months. Keep children supervised on deck at all times.
Six hours with a family
The minimum trip is six hours. With children, plan it in parts: fishing in the morning, a break and snacks in the shade, then a last session before heading back. Drinks on board are water and soft drinks, included; bring snacks or add food when you book.
How many can come
Up to 12 guests — enough for two or three families together. It is a private trip: the boat is only yours.

When to go
The cooler months, roughly October to April, are the most comfortable for a long day on an open deck, and they are the busiest — weekend dates go first. From May to September, book an early start and fish the morning before the heat builds. For which fish turn up when, see our fishing charter guide.

Yes, with Tabby or Tamara at checkout.
